FuturePlay has announced their finalists.
FuturePlay is a game conference and festival happening later this year in Ontario. They recently announced their finalists, which are listed here.
Braid is in there, as is another game I am working on. I would feel guilty for taking up two slots, except that Cultivation is somehow in both the Indie Games category and the Serious Games category.

I’m guessing 8Dots is also your game? I didn’t notice Cultivation was in two categories till you pointed it out, though imo its nifty that the organizers are doing that, cause it is a pretty interesting game.
Good luck with both of your entries (btw, the link to the finalists has an extra ‘http’ in it)

Yes, 8 Dots is my next game after Braid. Though by the time FuturePlay happens, it will be named something different.
Thanks for the link fix — too bad WordPress doesn’t catch that automatically.

That’s right.
I have never been to Canada before!
I’d better go to the doctor and get all my shots….

Hey man, how come Everyday Shooter is not in the finalist list?
Didn’t submit it?

y’know, it does make sense tho. i mean we are GAME-makers which can be largely about winning…
my greed meter is increasing now.

…No! Not you too Mak!
Heh, yea, your game should be in instead of whatever UnConformity (my submission) turns into….though now I’m tempted to clone Everyday Shooter and submit that (j/k)

(Let’s do a little experiment and see if Mr. Blow still gets this comments.)
What happened to ’8 Dots’? Was it renamed to the ‘The Witness’ or was it dropped altogether? Googling about it returns no results apart from this post.
