Well, if you have the AntiVirus “THREATFIRE” then ctrl-right click it, exit it; then go to ‘Run’ in ctrl+alt+del; type in “net stop threatfire” – wait a little while.. a few errors might pop up, but whatever, thats a good thing! NOW try Braid – it should work!

This is typical of how many games work. There isn’t a way to disable it.

Brit using a Japanese copy of Vista Ultimate 64. English US must be selected – crash still persists with English UK as the system locale.

As far as changing the system locale goes, it’s no big deal, but it would be nice if it was sorted out. Some random programs and installers require the ‘official’ locale.

Anyway, thanks Lifestream for enabling me to play the game. You’re a gent. And well done Jonathan for getting it onto the PC.
